NIN summit gathered 150 representatives of the fiscal, monetary and tax authorities

The Eighth NIN Summit of the Ministers of Finance, the Governor of the Central Banks and the Directors of the Tax Administrations of Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania, Northern Macedonia and Kosovo *, was succesfully held this June in Bečići (Montenegro). From this year NIN organizes Summit with the Association of Economists of Serbia.

The main theme of this NIN summit which gathered around 150 representatives of the fiscal, monetary and tax authorities of all countries in the region, as well as the leading people of the largest companies, banks and insurance companies in the Western Balkans, was “Financial and monetary stability of the region in conditions of slow economic growth in the Eurozone”.

From this unique gathering, where every year in the first half of June, monitors and fiscal policy makers meet in one place was reporting more than 50 journalists from all countries of the region.

For all conference participants, NIN has prepared a special publication, Summit Review 2019, with the authors’ texts as many as five Nobel Prize winners for the economy, current and former prime ministers, finance ministers and governors of Belgium, the Netherlands, Chile, Greece, and among the authors are the main economists of the IMF and the World Bank.

The next, ninth Summit of Ministers of Finance, Governors and Directors of Tax Administrations will be held from 11th to 13th June 2020, also in Becici.
